3 Killed, 5 Injured In 2-Car Crash In Western Massachusetts Town: DA's Office

Three people have died and five are hurt following a two-car crash in Western Massachusetts, authorities said.

The crash occurred when a northbound Toyota Sienna and a southbound Chevrolet Silverado collided in Sheffield on Route 7 near Pike Road around 5:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 25, the Berkshire District Attorney's Office reports.

Three people inside the Sienna died on the scene. Their identities have yet to be released, according to the office.

Meanwhile, four more people inside the Sienna were taken to a local hospital for treatment along with the only person inside the Silverado. 

The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact detectives at 413-499-1112.
